Medical Billing and RCM Services
Ten services that cover the revenue cycle from the first appointment to the final payment, built on 7+ years of medical billing work. Use them together as full revenue cycle management, or pick the ones that fill the gaps in your current team.
- Front-end services that prevent denials before the visit
- Coding and billing services that get claims paid the first time
- Back-end services that recover what is still outstanding
How the services fit together
Most billing problems show up at the end of the cycle, as a denial or an aging claim, but start at the beginning: a coverage check that was skipped, an authorization that was never requested, a provider who was not yet enrolled. That is why the services are organized by where they sit in the cycle, not by department.
Eligibility verification, prior authorization and credentialing protect claims before they exist. Medical coding and medical billing turn each visit into a clean claim. Denial management, A/R follow-up and patient billing collect what is still owed. Revenue cycle management runs all of them as one process, and workers' compensation billing handles the separate rules that apply to work injuries.

Which service fits the problem you see
Start from the symptom. Many practices begin with one service and add others once the first problem is under control.
| If you are seeing… | Start with | Because |
|---|---|---|
| Denials for inactive coverage or the wrong payer | Insurance eligibility verification | The problem starts before the visit, at registration. |
| Denials for missing approvals | Prior authorization services | Approvals have to exist before the service, not after the denial. |
| A new provider whose claims will not pay | Credentialing and provider enrollment | Payers will not pay a provider they have not enrolled. |
| Bundling, modifier or E/M denials | Medical coding services | The fix is in how the visit is coded from the documentation. |
| Denials sitting unworked | Denial management services | Each one has an appeal deadline, and the causes need tracing. |
| A large balance over 90 days | A/R follow-up and recovery | Older claims are closest to filing and appeal limits. |
| Patients confused by their bills | Patient billing services | Clear statements and a contact for questions improve payment. |
| Problems in several places at once | Revenue cycle management | One team owning every stage removes the gaps between them. |
Frequently asked questions
Can we combine services, or do we have to choose one?
Services can be combined in any mix. Many practices start with the one causing the most pain, such as denials or old A/R, then add front-end services once the backlog is under control.
Which service should we start with?
Usually the one closest to where your money is getting stuck. If you are not sure, a free billing audit shows whether the main losses come from the front end, coding or follow-up.
Do you work alongside our existing billing staff?
Yes. Responsibilities are split explicitly, for example your team keeps check-in and posting while we take denials and A/R, so there is no overlap or gap.
How is each service priced?
Each service can be priced as a percentage of collections, a flat monthly fee or a hybrid of the two. See the pricing page or request an audit for a quote based on your volume.
Is there a long-term contract?
Agreements typically run month to month after an initial term, with a 30-day notice period and a handover of open work if you leave.
Not sure where to start?
A free billing audit shows which part of your revenue cycle is losing the most, so you know which service to start with.
